Italy 1861-1964 (c.), a comprehensive, mainly used collection, neatly arranaged and housed in three albums, contained in a carton, including a good range of earlier issues with 1862 40c. pair on piece with "2240" Marseille lozenge, 80c. giallo arancio used (Caffaz Cert. 1994) and 1862 (27 Aug.) cover from Siena to Firenze bearing 10c. bistro giallastro (Caffaz Cert. 1993); 1863-65 D.L.R. printing with 1864 (6 Oct.) cover from Milano to Lione bearing 5c. pair and 30c. and a fairly complete range of issues to the top values some with signed or with certificates to 1945. A selection of attractive commercial covers with registered and express from a similar period and 1930 (15 Dec.) flight aerogramme bearing 1929 7 lire 70 and signed by Balboa (Caffaz Cert. 1993), 1934 (27 Jan.) first flight cover bearing 1934 Roma-Buenos Ayres set of four and two other issues and 1945 (18 June) cover to Milano bearing 14 lire carminio "Corrieri Alta Italia" label, etc. Generally fine.
