Lodovico Maria Sforza, call "il Moro" (1452-1508), Duke of Milan (1494-1499). Oval Medal. Bronze, 32 x 27mm. LVDOVICVS.M.SF.ANGLVS. DVX.M., Armored bust right, serpentine caduceus adorning his chest. Hill Corpus 651. Cast from an intaglio by Domenico dei Cammei, now in the Hermitage, St. Petersburg (E. Kris, Meister und Meisterwerke de Steinschneide Kunst in der italienischen Renaissance, Vienna, 1929, I, 36; II, pl. 20, 84). Very Fine.
