Organized in 1920, The Houdini Picture Corporation produced only two movies, "The Man from Beyond", which was successful, and "Haldane of the Secret Service", which proved to be a dismal failure. Harry Houdini was perhaps the greatest stage magician of all time. He invented or perfected illusions that still thrill audiences today. Houdini was killed at the age of 51 when a fan punched him and inadvertently ruptured his infected appendix. VF+. The Houdini signature is slightly faded, but quite legible. Attractively matted and framed with a b&w depiction of the Great Houdini locked and chained and a placard "Harry Houdini 1874-1926 Famed Magician & Escapologist:".
