Great European American Emigration Land Company (New York) 1868. 2 shares. Issued, not cancelled. No.31947-31948. Red and green, with gold embossed seal. Prosperous farm with cows, ducks, turkeys, hay wagon and more. Signed by Caleb Cushing as President. Cushing owned 33,000 acres in Polk County, Wisconsin, and thought he could attract European emigrants to come to America and buy the land. VF. Trimmed slightly into the left border, but this is the nicest one we have seen, as most have problems.
