United Missouri River Power Company (NJ), 1000 shares, 1910, #C178, blue borders, issued, uncancelled. VF+ Signed by Samuel T. Hauser as president. Hauser was a former Territorial Governor of Montana, and established the first silver smelting facilities in the Territory. In 1894, he formed the Missouri River Power Company, and won the approval of the United States Congress to build a dam, which was subsequently named for him.
