Trinity Oil and Gas Inc. (Colorado) 1985. VF+. According to our consignor, This company was an out and out fraud, similar in operation to Gulf Oil Drilling Supply and Gulf Coast Investment Group. These schemes depend on creating the impression that old wells, actually averaging one or two barrels a day, seem to be producing four to eight hundred barrels a day. Money laundering may also have taken place. Barry Seal, one of the founders, was a US drug smuggler and and dealer who flew flights for a drug cartel. An important example for any collector of fraud related certificates.
