Lodge, Oliver (1851-1940). British poet and author. TLS, 4vo. Mariemont, Edgbaston. July 9, 1919. To Channing Arnold. Lodge is glad to hear that Arnold is convinced that we can communicate with "…those who have gone before." Arnold writes in pencil at the end of the letter "…This letter is disappointing rather?" Two stains in the right margin, and there is some bleed through from the signature on the verso.
