Italy. Bronze plaque, likely used as a chalice inset. 16th Century. 47.5 x 46.3 mm, 53.23 gms. Saint offering at altar, possibly Saint Anthony of Padova, in vaulted chapel, a number of figures in cowls around, some by pillars, all within central circle with raised rim. Cast hole in right field plugged with brass. Pleasing. Extremely Fine.
