A Dublin Brigade I.R.A. Officer's Cap Badge in white metal, 'FF' at centre, surrounded by a garter bearing the motto 'Drong Átha Cliath', all on an eight-pointed rayed star, with reverse pin, nearly extremely fine

The 'FF' at centre stands for Fianna Fáil (Army of Ireland); 'Drong Átha Cliath' translates as 'Dublin Brigade'. The Badge was designed in 1913 by Eoin MacNeill, founder and Chief-of-Staff of the Irish Volunteers.
