An Officer's gilt-bronze Cap Badge, Waist Belt Clasp, pair of dark green Tunic Epaulettes with small buttons, and a pair of large Tunic Buttons belonging to an Officer of the City of Limerick Regiment, Irish Volunteers, generally good very fine and rare, all fixed on a section of uniform cloth and mounted for display purposes in a contemporary glazed oak frame
Provenance: Acquired and collected by Lieutenant (later Lieutenant-Colonel) J.B. Jarvis, 'D' Company, 1st Battalion Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry during the Irish War of Independence.
The Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry served in Limerick, 17.1.1920 - 21.3.1922.
