Confederate States, State of Louisiana, Act of January 23rd 1862, 8% Loan, a trio of $1000 bonds, payable 5 years after date, #1331, with coupons to 1867; payable 10 years after date, #3117, with coupons to 1872, and payable 8 years after date, #3457, date changed to Shreeveport 1863 by hand, with coupons to 1871, all signed by Governor Thomas Overton Moore, State seal (pelican) in centre, black, paper seals (Criswell 62E (2) and 62F), the last with ink burn reinforced on reverse, very fine.
