China. 1956 National Economic Construction Loan. Presentation Book of Front and Back Specimen Bonds for 1, 2, 5, 10, 50 and 100 Yüan. The 1 to 5 Yüan with Arms above legends, the others depict a harvester, train crossing a bridge, and a heavy crane loading freight train flatbeds. The front specimen with coupons tipped on individual left pages, the back with coupons on the right. Brown card covers with red cloth spine; "Government Printing Bureau," etc. on the front in silver characters. Trivial scuff on cover, generally clean copy, AU. [Book of 12]
