China. 1955 National Economic Construction Loan. Presentation Book of Front and Back Specimen Bonds for 10,000, 20,000, 50,000, 100,000, 500,000 and 1 Million Yüan. The first three feature ornate frames around the Chinese legends, the latter: an excavator at work, combine harvester, and steelworks. The front specimen with coupons tipped on individual left pages, the back with coupons on the right. Green cloth covers, "Government Printing Bureau," etc. in silver on front. The blank frontispage well foxed, otherwise a very clean and attractive example. AU.
