An interesting unused cheque of the Deutsche Palestina Bank for the account of 'Kaiserin Auguste Victoria Stiftung auf dem Olberg', large format, scrollwork at left, black, Ottoman adhesive revenue stamp, good very fine; together with a group of 3 cheques drawn by Austro-Hungarian Jewish organisations based in Jerusalem addressed to Baron S.M. von Rothschild in Vienna for various payments, 1916 (2) and 1917, all with signatures of Jewish officers of the organisations and also endorsed by each payee on the reverse, all with Ottoman adhesive revenue stamps, one with tape repairs, fine and better.
