His signature "Maxim Litvinoff" on small Autograph card; Wendell Willkie, corporate lawyer and dark horse Republican candidate for president in the 1940 election. His signature on a small card; Nicholas Murray Butler, philosopher, diplomat and educator, president of Columbia University and of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Nobel Prize recipient 1931 (jointly with Jane Addams).
