Templar Motors Corporation (DE) (OH), a pair of certificates, both for $10 shares, Cleveland 19[1920], #25428 and #29092, ornate border, American Eagle at top, black with orange underprint, EF. (2)
Taking its name from the Knights Templar the company was known for quality small cars in lakewood, Ohio. Like many manufacturers the company's production slowed dramatically during the First World War due to government cntracts but resumed with vengeance in 1919. Increase competition forced the company to refinance as Templar Motor Car Co. in 1923 but money ran out and production stopped in 1924.
