1788 Massachusetts 1/2 Cent. NGC XF Details, Obverse Planchet Flaw. Deep chocolate brown colored on both sides with moderate highpoint wear and no major post-strike marks. As is often seen, and is frequently expected for the type, several planchet voids (as-made) sweep across the obverse surfaces, making the NGC designation seems rather superfluous.
