1919 (1 Oct.) envelope addressed to Bristol, bearing 1912-24 11/2d. single and 1/- pair, tied by Western District Office W.1 c.d.s's; a few vey minor tone spots to perfs. and envelope perimeter though not detracting. Special airmail services were incepted to cope with the effects of the national railway strike and operated between the 1st and 6th of October, this example being a second day of use and one of only nineteen carried, flights to Bristol probably being the rarest.
