Charles II (1660-85), hammered coinage, Unite, 9.00g., first issue, class II, narrower laureated and draped bust left, no berries in wreath, no mark of value, rev. crowned oval garnished shield with cr at sides, florent concordia regna, m.m. crown on obverse only (Schneider dies O3/R4; Schneider 371 (same dies); N.2753; S.3301), an excellent portrait piece, struck on a full flan with an attractive golden tone, almost extremely fine, very rare thus Estimate £4,000-5,000 provenance:
