1840 MULREADY 1d. envelope, A24, used from Shrewsbury to Derby dated 18 May 1840, uprated with 1840 1d. plate 1a, BB, good to very large margins, tied by very fine strike of the red Maltese Cross; minor thinnings on reverse, light diagonal crease clear of adhesive and barely apparent.
