Eyrecourt: 1841 (8 July) wrapper to Dublin bearing plate 14, GJ with good to large margins just tied by a superb strike of this distinctive Maltese Cross with Eyrecourt despatch below, the reverse with Dublin datestamp, two vertical folding creases, one just touching the edge of the adhesive. A good example of this popular Irish postmark. Only twelve covers recorded, this being a particularly early date. S.G. B1tl, £1500. Photo
