Spanish correspondence to Senor Dr Jose de Dampierre, Manila "via Marseilles" and sent "care of Messrs A.L. Johnston & Co., Singapore" bearing a fine strike of "forwarded by/baring brothers & co./london" oval in black with London despatch alongside, fine and scarce Spanish correspondence from London; also 1847 (16 Apr.) large part wrapper (sides removed) from John Purvis & Co., Singapore "per 'Auguste Thiaue'" bearing a light strike of Manila arrival c.d.s. and manuscript "1" local postage charge, ex Lange (3 covers)
