1856 entire to Melbourne, bearing 1854 4a. blue and red 4th printing, both cut-to-shape, and 2a. green (scissor cut in margin at top right), all cancelled by diamond of dots and showing, on reverse, "penang/p.o." double-ring d.s. and "ship letter/free/g.p.o. victoria" c.d.s. (26.4), both in red; some light staining and creases affecting adhesives, nevertheless a very rare franking. Very few covers recorded bearing 1854 issues from the Straits Settlements to Australia and this is the only one known from Penang. R.P.S. Certificate (2006). Photo
