Wayna Alan Law enlisted into the Royal Canadian Navy in July 1991. A specialist Sonar Operator, he was made Able Seaman in January 1994, Leading Seaman in January 1995 and Master Sailor in May 1997. He served as one of approximately 40,000 Canadian sailors, soldiers and airmen to share in the conflict in Afghanistan and was part of TFA FFH 1 based out of Bahrain from October 2001 until January 2002. The Royal Canadian Navy deployed some 15 surface vessels and only around 6,000 Canadian sailors shared in the conflict. Law was discharged in June 2005; sold together with his Service Record.
