Queen's South Africa 1899-1902, 1 clasp, Transvaal (480 Tpr: P. Smith. Pietersburg Lt. Horse.), good very fine

Parker Smith served with the Pietersburg Light Horse and before that the Bushveldt Carbineers. During Smith's tenure with this second unit, Lieutenants Harry "Breaker" Morant and Peter Handock were convicted and executed following their shooting of Boer prisoners who had surrendered.
