Military General Service 1793-1814, 1 clasp, Salamanca (A. Kelly, Serjt 51st Foot.), a couple of light edge bruises and minor contact marks, otherwise very fine

Alexander Kelly was born circa 1766 and is confirmed on the roll for the medal and clasp. He received his pension from 9 December 1814 and died on 19 January 1850. A total of four recipient's of the 51st Regiment received the single Salamanca clasp, the other three being Captain Bartholomew Hickey, Private James Whittle and Private Elisha Wood.
