A tiny die crack, otherwise pleasingly toned, extremely fine, in NGC holder, graded MS61 (Cert. #8534303-001).
This medal commemorates the efforts leading up to the Treaty of Madrid (also known as the Earl of Sandwich's Treaty) signed on 23 May 1667 between England and Spain. The treaty was part of a series of agreements formed in response to France's expansion under King Louis XIV.
