CIVITAS LONDON, long cross, trio of pellets in angles, 11h, richly toned, very fine; another, Class 3cd, London, similar to last, bright but porous, recovered from the Pulborough Hoard; another, Second Recoinage, Class IXb, 1299-1302, similar, but star on breast, toned but lightly porous, a bolder fine; also, Edward II (1307-1327), Class 11b, Penny, Canterbury, similar to first, rev. CIVITAS CANTOR, 6h (North 1060), toned, pleasing very fine; lastly, Edward III (1327-1377), Fourth Coinage, Pre-Treaty Period, Penny, Durham, annulet stops, rev. CIVITAS DVNELMIE, long cross with singular crozier terminal by CIVI, 8h (S.1592), light field patina, fine (5)
