Joseph Howell was born in 1900 at Hammersmith, London, and originally lived at Hounslow working as a Dry Cleaner, he enlisted into the Royal Fusiliers on 15 April 1922 and is further entitled to a Defence and War Medals 1939-1945 and in 1949 was living at 21 Compton Crescent, Chiswick, London.
