Sidney Arthur George Wainwright was born in Kent on 7 September 1898. He appears in the 1939 Census as serving with the Royal Air Force. Wainwright appeared in the Kent Messenger of 1 February 1963 as an Inspector of the Maidstone and District Motor Services' Staff who had completed 40 years service and who received a canteen of cutlery for his service. He died in 1979.
