Walter Davis Watson was born at Glasgow in April 1914 and moved to New Zealand in 1936. With the outbreak of the Second World War, he joined the Royal New Zealand Air Force in April 1941 and joined No. 75 Squadron by August 1944. Sharing in the Ops on the marshalling yards at Lens, the airfield at St Trond and to Kiel & Russelheim, his final time getting 'wheels up' was on 29 August. With their Lancaster detailed to attack Stettin, they failed to return to base and were lost without trace; sold together with copied research.
