Edward Frederick Adams was born on the 29 June 1902 in Hastings, Sussex, and enlisted into the Royal Navy on his 18th birthday, 28 June 1920. His occupation prior to enlisting was a milk carrier. The first ship Adams served on was H.M.S. Ganges II, before transferring to H.M.S. Victory I, a ship he frequently served on throughout his career. Other ships he served on included the H.M.S. King George V and H.M.S. Royal Sovereign. Adams was discharged from service on 27 June 1932 having served for 12 years.
Included in the Lot is a Valentine's Day postcard of the H.M.S. King George V and copied research.
