Edward Stratfull was born at Aylesbury on 10 June 1898 and was the son of Edward Charles Stratfull, of 6 Bailey Court, Castle Street, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. He enlisted in the 6th Battalion, Dorset Regiment and was killed in action on 18 September 1918 and is commemorated on the Vis-En-Artois Memorial, France.
