A Crimean War Pair to Private D. Lockwood, who died in the Crimea on 12 April 1855

Crimea 1854-56, 3 clasps, Alma, Inkermann, Sebastopol (D. Lockwood. 95th Regt.), officially impressed, last clasp loose; Turkish Crimea 1855, British issue, mounted on a white metal mounting bar, very fine (2)

David Lockwood enlisted on 1 May 1854 and joined the 95th Foot at Preston on 12 May 1854. After only six weeks of training, he was sent to the Service Companies on 27 June 1854 and took part in the landings in September 1854. Lockwood took part in Battles of Alma and Inkerman and died in the Crimea on 12 April 1855.
