Aasa Mankoe enlisted into the South African Native Labour Corps at Jhberg on 5 April 1917. He was stationed at Basutoland and discharged from service on 20 September 1918. This medal was his sole entitlement.

Joseph Khomedi attested on the 12 March 1917 and served with the South African Native Labour Corps. He was stationed at Jhberg and discharged from service on 23 March 1918.
