India General Service 1908-35, 1 clasp, North West Frontier 1930-31 (F/O. T. J. Davidson. R.A.F.), mounted as worn, lightly toned good very fine

Thomas Jerrard Davidson was born on 5 May 1908. He appears in the Air Force List of 1932 serving as a Flying Officer with No.39 Squadron based at Risalpur, India, as part of No.2 (Indian Wing) Station flying Wapiti (D.H.9a) aircraft, his service papers confirm him flying this type. Davidson was promoted to Flying Officer on 1 July 1932 (London Gazette 5 July 1932) and was granted a further extension of service of 4 years from 1 July 1936. He appears in the Air Force List of 1940 as serving in the General Duties branch of the service.
