Egypt and Sudan 1882-89, undated reverse, 3 clasps, Toski 1889, Gemaizah 1888, The Nile 1884-85 (2nd Bn. Infry. No. 277.), named in the Egyptian style, pitting from Star, contact and edge wear, otherwise very fine

No. 277 would have been an Egyptian soldier and an original member of the newly-formed Egyptian Regiment the 2nd Infantry Battalion. No. 277 appears on the medal roll for the 2nd Infantry Bn. for 1884-85 with entitlement to this medal and a clasp for The Nile. However, his entitlement for the other two clasps has not been verified.
