Leonard Keith Jackson was born at Sydney, New South Wales on 18 March 1927. He enlisted and was posted to the 14 Australian Recruit Training Battalion on 5 June 1945 as a Private. Posted through a series of Base Ordnance Depots in late 1945-46 Jackson arrived at Kure, Japan on 26 April 1946, 6 months after that country surrendered to the Allies. Joining the 67th Battalion he returned to Australia on 18 November 1947. Jackson was discharged on 1 December 1947; sold together with copied research.
