An unusual campaign group of five awarded to Able Seaman T. H. Evans, Mercantile Marine, who was awarded a Norwegian War Medal for his service

1939-1945 Star; Atlantic Star, clasp, France and Germany; Africa Star, clasp, North Africa 1942-43; War Medal 1939-45; Norway, Kingdom, War Medal, with rosette, the reverse engraved 'T. H. Evans.', in its card box of issue the inside labelled, 'Thomas Hubert Evans, Esq Mercantile Marine', the first four with their named and addressed box of issue, good very fine (5)

Thomas Hubert Evans was born at Llanelly, Monmouthshire in the summer 1905 and served with the Merchant Navy throughout the Second World War. He continued to serve for some time, finally being discharged on 14 July 1982, he died in the summer 1983; sold together with copied research including a service card, birth and death register along with a medal roll.
