1939-1945 Star; War Medal 1939-45, in rather tatty card box of issue named to 'Mr. E. Fleming, 5 Brunsick Court, Tanner St, Bermondsey' and Army Council slip in the name of 'Pte. J. W. Fleming', good very fine

J. W. Fleming was born in 1920, the son of Edward & Martha Fleming. He was killed in action on 22 May 1940 and is buried in the Esquelmes War Cemetery, his headstone being further engraved:

'In loving memory of our dear son. Gone but not forgotten. Mum, Dad & Family.'
