George Albert Raven was born at Earls Colne, Essex and enlisted at Warley, Essex He died on 22 July 1917 whilst serving with "B" Battery 69th Brigade in Mesopotamia and is buried in the Baghdad (North Gate) War Cemetery, Iraq.
