Arthur George Nott was born at Bedminster, Bristol and was the son of George James and M. Nott, of 47, Carrington Rd., Ashton Gate, Bristol. He enlisted at Bristol and was killed in action on 5 November 1916 whilst serving with the 2nd Battalion and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial.

Sold with a letter written by him to his sister and Post Card for receipt of the Pair.
