Ernest Walter Grimston was born on 13 September 1876 at Hanover Square, London. During the Great War he served in France from 14 October 1915 and was promoted Lieutenant on 1 June 1916. Having been demobilised in February 1919, he lived at Woodside, Cadmore, Buckinghamshire and returned to his career as a Land Agent, travelling to Panama, Surabaya and other locations. A Justice of the Peace, he died on 16 September 1960 at Amersham; sold together with portrait photographs, besides sweetheart brooch and other copied research.
