General Service 1918-62, 1 clasp, Kurdistan (4524738 Pte. W. E. Owen. W.York.R.), light contact marks and polishing, good fine possibly better

William Edward Owen was born at Outwood, West Yorkshire on 8 January 1900 and served in Kurdistan with the 2nd Battalion, he did not see any prior Great War service. He re-enlisted on 8 November 1941 and later served with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. Owen was finally discharged on 10 February 1954.
