(x) Queen's South Africa 1899-1902, 1 clasp, Cape Colony (4578 Pte R. Wright. Liverpool Regt), very fine

Richard Wright was born at Liverpool in 1880 and was a labourer by trade upon his joining the Army in October 1898, serving with the 3rd Battalion, King's Liverpool Regiment. He served in South Africa from 16 November 1901-13 September 1902, and is further entitled to the clasp South Africa 1902.
