(x) Indian Mutiny 1857-58, 1 clasp, Relief of Lucknow (Robert Severn 92nd Regt.), light contact marks, very fine

Robert Severn attested into the 92nd Foot at St.Cuthbert's, Edinburgh on 8 March 1856 with the number 3840, he had previously been a labourer. Promoted to Corporal on 11 September 1862 and to Sergeant on 1 June 1863, he saw service in Gibraltar of 1 year and 3 months and a total of 5 years and 2 months in India. Severn was dischared at Curragh, Ireland on 7 March 1866.
