(x) Waterloo 1815 (William Hindle, Gunner, Royal Foot Artillery.), very fine

William Hindle served in Captain Sandham's battery during the Waterloo campaign, and Dalton's 'Waterloo Roll Call' suggests that it was a gun of his unit which fired the first shot of the allied artillery on 18 June 1815.
