Egyptian Warrants

A pair of Warrants of Appointment bestowed upon Basha Murad Muhsin, Director of the Royal Endowments, each hand-finished with gold leaf, approximately 430mm x 300mm each, very fine and rare survivors (2)

First document from King Fuad to Murad Muhsin Basha Royal Court Undersecretary on 6th Jamadi Al Thaniya 1349 Hijriya (27 October 1930), appoints him to the rank of Basha with all its benefits.

The second is from King Farouk to Murad Muhsin Basha, Our Supervisor and Director of the Royal Endowments on the 9th of Rabe'e Al Aw'wal 1365 Hijriya (11 February 1946), appoints him to a higher privileged rank with all its benefits.
