Allen George Henry Robins was born on 8 February 1911 at Carshalton, Surrey and by 1939 was a jewellery clerk living at Derek Avenue, Wallington, also served as a Private (No. 2880417) in the 1st Battalion, London Scottish. Commissioned into the Indian Army in December 1942, he was awarded his E.M. in January 1949 and died in 2000.
