A Royal Household Faithful Service Medal group of three awarded to Mr G. Linnett, who worked as a Gardener at the Windsor & Buckingham Palace Royal Gardens and in the Master of the Household's Department

Royal Household Faithful Service Medal, G.V.R., the suspension dated '1913-1933', with Thirty Years Bar, reverse of this engraved 'G.R.VI.' (Linnett, George), in its case of issue; Jubilee 1935; Coronation 1937, good very fine (3)

George Linnett was born on 29 April 1889 and worked as a gardener at the Royal Gardens from 1913, living at the Chevron Club by 1921, along with the other Staff of Buckingham Palace. Having taken his Faithful Service Medal in 1933, he was living at Alexandra Road, Windsor by 1939 and worked in the Windsor Royal Gardens. Linnett added the Bar to his Medal in 1943 and died at Windsor in 1958.
